Breaking it down

Ah, payday. Our favorite day of the week. But what happens when we... Don't know how to get paid. Now, don't panic. Because I've been in your exact same shoes recently. While I'm not a jack of all trades, I have mastered the platform Stripe. So, without further ado, here is how to make a payment link in your Stripe account.
First, you're gonna want to login to your Stripe account. While Stripe has a myriad of features, thankfully some things are automatically pinned. In the vertical tool bar on the left, click the category 'payment links'. Here you will see all current payment links you've created. But today, we're going to click the plus button at the top that reads 'Create payment link'.
After clicking that you'll be sent to a new page where you'll create the payment link from scratch. For your link to work with Maltix Connect's payments, choose the link type from a dropdown list at the top, and choose 'Customers choose to pay'. In other words, this is the payment type usually reserved for tips and donations. But for our business, this means we can get paid securely for any amount of work we've done in a given period.
Below that, you can add pictures, descriptions, and titles to the page. All of that is optional though, except for the title. So make whatever title for the page you want so it will work correctly. You can also choose the default currency for the page. I personally recommend you just choose British Pounds since that's the money Maltix pays with, so you may save on applicable conversion fees. The advanced options on the page are optional, so it's up to you if you personalize the link more.
On the page that says 'After Payment', you can personalize a closing message when payments are accepted, but this is also optional. Finally, on the upper right hand corner, click 'Create Link'. Now that you created the link, go back to your Stripe dashboard and click the 'Payment Links' category again. Here you'll find the link under the title you gave it. Just roll your mouse over the link and click 'Copy URL'. After copying it, go into your Titan email and paste the link into a new email message. Then send it on over to [email protected]. And you're done! See, it wasn't that hard after all.
