Adding leads to the Capsule CRM pipeline typically involves creating an Opportunity. Here is the simple process:
1. Create a New Opportunity From the main menu bar (usually at the top), click the icon to add a new item and select Opportunity. Alternatively, if you are already looking at a specific contact's page, you can click "Add Opportunity" directly from there.
2. Fill in the Opportunity Details A form will appear where you define the lead. The most important fields for your pipeline are:
  • Name: Give the deal or lead a name (e.g., "Consulting Project - ABC Corp").
  • Contact: Search for and attach the Person or Organization this lead belongs to.
  • Milestone: This is the key step. Select the stage of the pipeline this lead should enter (e.g., "New Lead," "Qualified," "Meeting").

    3. Save to Pipeline Once you click Save, the lead will immediately appear in your Sales Pipeline under the Milestone column you selected.
